History ★ Kimiko is the youngest of three children born from a loving father who is a househusband, and a strict, working mother. The oldest child, Kimiko's sister, is just like their mother: ambitious and goal-oriented. The middle child, Kimiko's brother, is more of a dreamer influenced by their father. Kimiko is a mix of both parents; having dreams and achievable goals.

Kimiko's sister, a dorming college student who is interested in everything aviation and the airforce, influenced Kimiko's passion for the sky. Her brother, who is an immature, energetic highschool junior obsessed with girls and partying, has influenced her to enjoy some sports and pop music. Kimiko's father spoils her with lots of love treating her like the baby of the family and her mother makes sure that Kimiko remains goal oriented and focused.

The lifestyle Kimiko has had is a very sheltered one due to her father being quite overprotective and her mother being on top of her to ensure she excels in her activities and studies. She used to hang out with her sister all the time, talking about the sky and the stars until her sister moved out for college. Her brother has always been annoying and gross so she thinks all boys are like that. He shamelessly jokes about Kimiko's early hit of puberty saying all the milk she drinks goes straight to her chest.

Overtime, Kimiko developed an extreme interest in astronomy and her mother was more than willing to support her passion and enrolled her into Hoshizora High.
