I believe that we are all different, and yet we are all connected. Hana -- I believe -- is all in a way like me. Not to point out, you've got every perspective and attitude I have, even though I am clearly not blonde or lightly skinned. Anyway, I MUST praise you for your work. Very detailed. Good coloring, and full praise from me. ><
ah well there's enough parts to a face to help make each and everyone of them unique even if the differences are subtle. you got the head shape, the eyebrows, eyes, mouth, nose, etc. and I try to make at least one of those things different between all my characters
That is Abbey in the pic and she is an example of personal space and is also Hana's younger sister!
I've seen you draw those little faces on your concept work before, and I find they end up on the character you're drawing, but now it just looks like some "air-face" is making pervy faces at her (with the exception of a couple). What's up with that?
oh lol HAHA those little faces...its like a mini practice of drawing different expressions. They're basically just how i feel about an individual sketch. the faces that look very pleased get the blue ribbon; the faces that are like get that yellow strike, and then the faces of disgust get a red X hehe
so yeah theyre just visual notes for myself
and sometimes ill try and draw the character making those air faces just for character expression and consistency practice
Ahh, I figured out the mini practice part, but the faces with blue ribbon, yellow strikes, and red X's I didn't pick up on. That's neat! I usually just put little "x" or a to tell myself which one I prefer.
